  • La Castellane — Good pizzas and Italian dishes with a beautiful terrace and castle views. Not especially gourmet, but a lovely spot for a relaxed meal. Price: €€

  • La Table de Mentone (Château Mentone) — One of our favourites. Excellent food, own wines, olive oil and a lovely terrace with atmosphere — highly recommended. Price: €€€€

Cotignac (7 km)

  • Le Jardin Secret — A standout choice with splendid food and a romantic Provençal garden setting. Green Michelin Star (Hotel Lou Calen). Price: €€€€

  • Le Bistro de Lou Calen — Serviceable but less exciting than Le Jardin. Price: €€€

  • Le Bistro — Can be good, but in high season gets very crowded and loses quality. Price: €€€

  • Picotte — Excellent food from a lovely couple — strongly recommendable. Price: €€€

  • Du Cour — Good classic French kitchen. Price: €€€

  • La Table de Marie Arice — Very good French cuisine. Price: €€€

  • Le Clos des Vignes — Very good restaurant in a beautiful setting — another highlight. Price: €€€€

  • CarcèsL’Oie Qui Boit — Great lunch address with very good food — definitely worth a stop.

  • Le Grillon — Pleasant terrace in the village centre; a bit more commercial since changing owners. Price: €€€

  • Château de Berne – Le Jardin de Berne — Michelin-starred fine dining, superb food and setting — formal and expensive but unforgettable. Price: €€€€€

  • Château de Berne – Le Bistro de Berne — Slightly more relaxed than Le Jardin, but very good and beautiful. Price: €€€€

  • La Voute — Small, excellent French restaurant run by a lovely couple — very recommendable.

  • Bruno — Michelin-starred, exceptional especially for truffle lovers. Price: €€€€€

  • La Cuisine des Halles — A very good and charming restaurant near the market — well worth a visit. Price: €€€
